We are grateful for this gorgeous building which has been a part of this neighborhood since it was erected in 1906. Through the years, parishioners have lovingly overseen its care and maintenance. We hope your worship will be enriched by the spacious sanctuary, adorned by high, arched stain glass windows, a long center aisle, and a magnificent Esty pipe organ which was installed circa 1907.
Our sanctuary, which is known for its excellent acoustics and unique architectural style, accommodates up to 250 people. As the primary worship space for First Church services, it is the center of our faith life as a community. We are happy to share its beauty as a space for quiet reflection, prayer, or as a venue for a musical or theatre performance.
The wood hall , with its beautiful staircase and chandelier, is uniquely designed as a potential back drop for weddings or musical theatre, art showings, or spoken word performances or other receptions. It can accommodate 100 people.
The Green Room is a great setting for presentations.
The Fellowship Hall provides an ideal setting for many events including city and community meetings, celebrations or receptions, service projects and many others. The fellowship hall raised stage is ideal for plays, dance recitals, speakers and panel discussions. The Fellowship Hall can accomodate 100 people.
